27-Lot Conservation and Transferable Lot Subdivision

This is a land subdivision project where Birch delivered planning, engineering, surveying, and project management services to create 27 conservation lots on a complex rural site.

Birch Surveyors provided Planning, Engineering, Project Management and Surveying services to Noviga Ltd. For their subdivision over a challenging site which involved:

• Creation of 27 lots (5 on site, 22 Transferable Lots)
• Assisting our client to complete the relocation of the TLA boundary following the Auckland Council amalgamation
• Obtain Subdivision and Land Use consents for the project (non-notified)
• Working with and coordinating Auckland Council Planners, the Department of Conservation, ecological and geotechnical consultants on a challenging project
• Survey of 160 ha of high quality podocarp bush covenant over an old title
• Assisting with development of pest control programmes and fencing inspections
• Assisting solicitors with completion of the covenant documentation and legal documents

Birch Surveyors have also managed the majority of the subdivisions resulting from transferable lots generated by this subdivision across the former Franklin District.
